These are my favorite pieces that I have crocheted over the years. I learned how to crochet by making plushies and I have not stopped since. I am currently in the process of perfecting my craft and this
type of art is my go-to to when giving gifts.
These were my first crochet projects. The pink whales and the octopus are made out of acrylic yarn and the red and blue whales are made out of bernat velvet yarn.
This squid was made as a gift for my best friend. I used jumbo chenille yarn to create this squid. It is my third largest project created at 1'5" long.
I made this piece as an interior Halloween decoration. It is meant to give off the same vibe as the movie Coraline with it's button eyes and sparkly white yarn body.
This is my largest crochet amigurumi plushie created. It is 6'2" long from the top of the bell to the tip of the tentacles. I am most proud of this creation.
This is my first original pattern created. It is a person and was crocheted with no particular goal. I let myself create something organic and this is the finished product.
This dragon was made as a gift for my best friend. I used regular sized chenille yarn to make this dragon.
This is the first large scale crochet project I created. It took almost five skeins of jumbo chenille yarn to make and I am very proud with the results. It is the second largest crochet project I created at 2'3" long. I gave this to my Social Studies teacher and it has been in his classroom ever since.
